We have lightweight tents and sleeping mats available to hire for a small amount which covers cleaning and replacement of equipment once it has reached the end of its life.

We also have spares of many items including walking poles, headtorches and waterproof trousers, which you are welcome to borrow if you let us know in advance.

For camping, your guide will have the following group equipment, but please feel free to bring your own if you have it:

A portable stove for boiling water for the group. If you bring your own, all cooking MUST be done outside of your tent and stoves should be disassembled and kept outside or in the porch, to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning.

A minature shovel for the group as all toilet waste needs to be dug & buried.
