Do you want to be able to plan great walks, with beautiful views, prepared for the weather and conditions and feel confident that you won’t get lost? I’ve designed this course to help you do this. This course is a follow-up to my Find your Way - First Steps course, and this time we’ll be covering more intricate route planning, more complex terrain, hazards, what to take, and intermediate map reading as well as the use of the compass. GPS apps are great until your battery runs out, you get logged out and don’t have signal to log back in, or you drop or drown your phone (all of these have happened to me, thankfully I always have a map to hand and know how to read it!)
By the end of the day you should feel confident in being able to find your way somewhere new on trails in hills and mountain terrain, and what to do if you become ‘lost’.
Price per person
