Do you want to be able to plan great walks, with beautiful views, prepared for the weather and conditions and feel confident that you won’t get lost? I’ve designed this course to help you do this. We’ll be covering route planning, access, hazards, what to take, and basic map reading. GPS apps are great until your battery runs out, you get logged out and don’t have signal to log back in or you drop or drown your phone (all of these have happened to me!)
By the end of the day you should feel confident in being able to find your way somewhere new on trails in lowland terrain.
