Known as the Frost Moon as it typically heralds the beginning of colder weather, but sometimes also known as the Mourning Moon, this is a time to retreat and introspect, and there is nowhere better to do this than the bare-boned late Autumn landscapes of the Brecon Beacons.
We’ll head out mid afternoon to enjoy a walk in the mountains. With luck we’ll get to enjoy a sunset and watch the moonrise, before descending under the stars. Expect a climb of approximately 400m ascent and descent. I’ll decide the route based on the conditions on the day.
*Please note, unfortunately I can’t control the weather, I’ll plan to go ahead with the walk in all weather as long as I consider it safe to. As it is a night walk, if it is going to be unpleasant weather I may cancel and offer a refund.
