Explorer Experience: Beacons Horseshoe

2020-01-24 02.35.27 3.jpg

This route takes in four peaks of the central Beacons, the most iconic part of the Brecon Beacons National Park; its’ namesake mountains. A full day, challenging but rewarding route, we’ll visit Fan y Big, Cribyn, Pen y Fan and Corn Du. With far reaching views in good weather, and atmospheric when shrouded in mist, this 15km route with approximately 800m overall ascent is one of the best mountain days in the Brecon Beacons.

*Please note, unfortunately I can’t control the weather, I’ll plan to go ahead with the walk in all weather as long as I consider it safe to. Please understand that the route will be tailored to the groups abilities and weather conditions and therefore I can’t guarantee the route will be exactly as described.
